MEET YOUR TEACHER


Hi there! I'm Suzanne Scacca and I'm the owner of Let Go Yoga and a Registered Yoga Teacher (RYT) with Yoga Alliance. I'm also certified in trauma-informed yoga and I specialize in somatics.

I've been involved in the movement arts since I was 6 years old. First, it was dance. Then Pilates and barre. I even dabbled with Nia and Tai Chi for a bit, too.

After experiencing debilitating pain in my lower back, I was diagnosed with osteoarthritis at the age of 30. The treatment plan? Pain meds and bed rest for 1 to 2 weeks to manage the attacks. Everything from bending over to sneezing could trigger one. And that just didn't seem right to me.

That's when I discovered yoga.

Now, I'm on a mission to teach others how to listen to their bodies and give them the movement and stillness they crave.

Why "Let Go"?

I live my life by the idea that we should let go of anything that doesn't serve us. For me, that meant letting go of things like:

  • Bad relationships and friendships

  • Poor eating habits

  • Toxic employers

  • Unhealthy digital usage

  • Workouts that didn't make me feel good

But everyone is different. What one person decides to let go of will be different for others. What I've found, though, is that yoga, somatics, and connection can be vehicles for transformation for everyone.

So, I want this space to empower you to let go of whatever is holding you back and does not personally work for you.
